About the Process

Dry cleaning uses non-water-based solvents to remove stains and dirt from clothes, hence the word "dry". Most dry cleaners in the U.S. use perchlorethylene ("Perc") as part of the cleaning solvent. "Perc" has been listed by the Environmental Protection Agency as a possible carcinogen and hazardous ground and air pollutant. We, at Value Village Cleaners, are proud to announce that we use Environmentally-Safe Dry Cleaning Machines! These all-new machines use state-of-the-art equipment and a non-toxic, safe hydrocarbon dry cleaning solvent to clean your clothes!
